I grew up in East Cobb and went on to attend Auburn University. After graduation, I moved back to Atlanta and began my career in sales. Within a few years in the business world, I transitioned into commercial real estate in 2020, focused on industrial.
After several years in brokerage, I decided it was time to start a real estate investment company with Braden Payne, who not only is a best friend, but also the perfect complement to my many weaknesses.
I married my wife, Erica, who I’ve known since I was just ten years old. Today, we live in Inman Park just off the BeltLine with our son, Murray Gray V. Outside of my family and real estate, I love to surf and play golf. I’m also actively involved in my church through the children’s ministry and serve with Central Atlanta Young Life.
Growing up, I called the Carolinas home. After earning a chemical engineering degree from Auburn University, I went on to lead manufacturing and operations teams across the Southeast and Midwest.
In 2024, I partnered with my dear friend Murray Gray to co-found Fourth Capital, an opportunity to combine my passions and execute on a vision of serving the industrial companies I had spent the first chapter of my career working with and for.
I now live north of Atlanta with my beautiful wife, Nicole and our daughter. We spend as much time outdoors as we can – fishing, skiing, hiking and hunting. I’m proud to serve as a deacon at our church and hope that what we’re building at Fourth Capital helps both the communities that we operate in and the Kingdom of God.
I grew up in East Cobb and went on to study Finance at Auburn University. After graduating, I began my career in Aeronautics at Lockheed Martin, where I gained a strong appreciation for disciplined operation and long-term decision making.
As much as I valued that experience, I’d always been drawn to real estate and the idea of building something. Joining Fourth Capital was the right next step, a place where I could grow, contribute, and work alongside a team whose faith, values, and work ethic reflect the kind of environment I wanted to be part of.
I now live in Midtown, Atlanta. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, golf, pick-up sports and spending time with friends and family. I’m also an avid Atlanta and Auburn sports fan.
Originally from Macon, I went on to spend four years at the University of Georgia, earning both degrees in Economics and Biology. My time in Athens shaped me deeply – not just academically – but in my love for people, leadership, and the process of building something from the ground up.
That led me to join Fourth Capital, where I am grateful to help build a company and a culture alongside teammates I admire, and to work in an environment where faith, stewardship, and integrity matter. I met my wife, Ella, during our time at UGA, and we were married in the summer of 2025.
We now live in Atlanta near Little Five Points and are enjoying the energy of a city that neither of us grew up in. Outside of work, I love traveling with my wife, playing sports with friends, and cheering on my alma mater.
